Known to be desert shrubs, the Chuparosa (also called beloperone) are flowers commonly found on deserts in California, Arizona and Mexico. If you're looking to build a desert landscape, you can add chuparosa flowers in your list. It's a low bush and at times bear succulent leaves, and it's name (chuparosa) is Latin for ‘hummingbird'. They are drought-tolerant plants and prefer a sandy type of soil to grow on.
