This plant is known for names such as the Crab Cactus or Holiday Cactus and even Thanksgiving Cactus, but they're simply called as Christmas Cactus plants. They commonly grow on rocks and or on trees that has shade with high humidity, but nowadays they're grown as houseplants. They are considered to be leafless and composed of areoles, characterized as cactus bumps that forms a cluster of spines. In order to keep them on a healthy state, keep their soil slightly most specially during their growth season (summer and spring) and give them enough water.
