A sweet-looking shrub in all angles; the Sweet Marjoram

Known for its distinct fragrance, the Sweet Marjoram (also called Knotted Marjoram) is a bushy sub-shrub with aromatic gray-green leaves. These leaves are primarily used in salads, meat, fish & sauces, and has a more delicate flavor compared to the common Oregano. During summer, Sweet Marjoram produces clusters of tiny pale white-pink flowers, thus adding some drama to this edible plant. They're also an excellent choice on cottage gardens, containers and if you're into Mediterranean gardens.
