A very happy plant indeed; the Happy Centennial Forsythia

When springtime comes, a Forsythia plant is always in mind and one that's very extra-ordinary to have is the cultivar Happy Centennial. A compact, spreading, deciduous shrub, the Happy Centennial will provide you with bright-yellow, four-petaled flowers which appear before the leaves in early to mid spring. Its foliage is composed of leathery, ovate, dark green leaves which remain attractive throughout the growing season. This cultivar is highly recognized for its extreme flowerbud hardiness as it will bloom heavily after even severe winters when many other Forsythia cultivars would not.
