A multi-branched evergreen shrub, the Bladderpod boasts with showy terminal clusters of yellow flowers with long stamens that radiate from each flower to protrude out. Attracting a diverse array of pollinators, the Bladderpod blooms for long period ranging from winter to early summer. The foliage is aromatic when crushed while the flowers give way to interesting fleshy green pods that dangle from short stalks. They should be propagated by seed and pruned after blooming for a fuller shape.
