Cute and lovale shrubs; the Ralph Shugert periwinkle

A trailing shrub that spreads along the ground, the Ralph Shugert (dwarf periwinkle) is a popular groundcover specially in temperate gardens, prized for its evergreen foliage and bright violet-blue flowers that bloom from spring to summer. Although considered to be invasive (some cultivars), the Ralph Shugert is quite the opposite and known to repel other invasive weeds. They all need just a full sun to grow at their best and is highly drought-tolerant.
