The Spindle tree (euonymus planipes) is a flowering plant with flowers that usually forms into small groups. Their seeds are known to be eaten by birds but some varieties can be toxic, specially to humans. It also has berries usually in red or pink and a stunning crimson foliage perfect for a winter garden. They thrive under a full sun or partial shade and can tolerate any kind of soil as long as it's not boggy or wet.
