Compared to the traditional cherry fruit tree, the Morello cherry is a bit darker and smaller but the tree is known to bear heavy crops. It also has a late harvesting period unlike any other variety of cherry tree. The Morello cherry is a sour-tasting fruit which is perfect for making jams and pies. Not only they produce small red fruits, they also have beautiful blossoms that stays within the tree for a very long time.
