Ozelot Sword aquarium plants (Echinodorus ‘Ozelot’) display long, wavy-edged green or red leaves marked with bright marbling. They're ideal plants for beginners and grows well even in sub-optimum conditions, but not that fast. Ozelot Sword plants are amphibious, meaning it can be either fully or partially submersed. It's best that you plant them on aquarium gravel or other substrate, as the root system can be extensive. Trimming the leaves of the plant is also important, as the plant may develop yellow leaves after planting.
