A very unusual flower that you can notice in a garden is the Tawny King flower. Also called as Poker Plant, the Tawny King has grass-like leaves with spikes of flowers with a mixture of red, orange and yellow, which is placed above its foliage. Its flowers are highly attractive to bees and sunbirds and sometimes can be bicoloured. The Tawny King flower is also cultivated for its architectural properties, mainly as vertical plants and can be placed along with other plants/flowers.
