Lemongrass is an excellent insect repellant but if this plant is not watered properly, then you'd swarmed by some insects, particularly mosquitoes. Lemongrass is an easy to care plant, but with the proper area and time, together with the right amount of water, this healthful herb would grow healthy as a horse.
