In the Mexican and South American region, the Golden Dewdrop is a commonly grown shrub and a widely cultivated ornamental plant. Although its species are invasive, the Golden Dewdrop provides showy flowers and is a fruit-bearing plant (toxic to humans) and highly attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. They're best grown under full exposure to sun and can be propagated through stem cuttings or through seeds.
