Growing and caring for the Red Nancy deadnettles

Spotted Dead Nettles are fine-looking plants and its cultivar Red Nancy is a must-grow one. They are semi-evergreen, mat-forming perennials prized for its foliage composed of heart-shaped, silvery-green leaves with thin green margins. Late in spring, small purple-pink flowers open in attractive whorls at the end of red-tinged stems and continue into fall. These plants are an an excellent groundcover for semi-shaded locations and they're evergreen in mild winter climates. Red Nancy is easily grown on well-drained soils, must be given part shade to full shade and drought tolerant once established.
