Growing one of the most popular succulent as a houseplant; the Cholla Cactus

A Mexican native cactus called the Cholla Cactus is sure to be seen often as a houseplant, and it is described as a shrubby or groundcover cacti, but can also grow tree-like. They're highly segmented with many joints separating their cylindrical stems, and their spines are known for being quite nasty. The Cholla Cactus, just like any other succulent, is known for being a hardy plant and is highly drought-tolerant but can succumb once over-watered. They rarely bloom when grown indoors, but if they do, you can expect blooms of cup-shaped flowers that vary in color in shades of yellow, orange, red, pink, or even green.
