Certainly you haven't heard of the cactus plant named Matucana but if you have, then you'll greatly appreciate its stunning look. They're valued for their small cylindrical body which can sometimes form clusters and known to begin flowering at an early age. Its flowers are in red but sometimes can change into pink or yellow along with its familiar spines. Give the Matucana a full sun specially in the morning but avoid getting them exposed in afternoon heat, and it can tolerate a poor soil with good drainage.
