This is another flower that has a few names in its existence; Lazarus Bell, Guinea Flower, Snake's Head and Drooping Tulip among others. Hence, the Checkered Lily has purple flowers with a chequered pattern and commonly grows on grasslands and river meadows and usually blooms during spring. However, some precaution should be observed as its bulbs contain poisonous alkaloids but despite that, the Checkered Lily is a great addition to your flower garden.
