Just how lovely a Camelot Lavender can be

A common plant on borders, the Camelot Lavender is a short-lived perennial boasting tall spires of funnel-shaped lavender flowers with maroon speckles on its throat. Its flower bloom profusely during summer and forms numerous secondary flower spikes which extends its blooming period. These flower rise from strong stems and are very attractive to hummingbirds and other birds who flock the seedheads during fall. Camelot Lavender must grow on full sun with a well-draining soil to perform at its best, while propagation is thru seed which should be sown during spring.
