Planting the Glory of the Snow in your floral backyard

Springtime can be a great time for bulbs to show some blooms and one of those bulbs that can really give a sparkling visual is the Glory of the Snow. Known for their habit of peeking out through a carpet of late season snow, these amazing bulbs produce wonderful blooms, of lovely star-shaped flowers with creamy white throats (sometimes blue, white or pink). Its foliage persists until fall while its flowering occurs during spring. Glory of the Snow is primarily used as accents in spring planters or containers, in rockeries, along paths, or in the early perennial garden.
