Mostly known as a lawn plant, the black medick (sometimes hop clover) as like true clovers for its three leaflets. Producing honey is one common use of its leaves and can also be used as medicinal herb however, it also has harmful health effects. They thrive in the full heat of the sun and on a very fertile soil.
