You might want to consider growing the Tugela Jade, a pineapple lily with basal rosette of leaves on stout stems. Its flowers are covering the stems and shaped like a star, with green bracts on the top. The whole plant itself is resembling a pineapple, thus its common name of ‘pineapple lily. The flowers of Tugela Jade also contain nectar, which is vital for pollinators. They can thrive on a partial shade but blooms best under a full sun on soil with good drainage.
