There are a few ways and methods in storing your seeds and one of those is actually quite helpful, and it's by using egg cartons. Every household has perhaps an egg carton and it's very useful in terms of gardening so best advice is never throw them away as the more cartons you got, the more seeds you can store and germinate. Of course, drainage is still important in this process but it's very easy as you only need to poke holes under each egg cup.
