Often grown as tree, Redbud shrubs is still a perfect choice to grow in your backyard. Its flowers give a stunning visual with magenta and pink colors which forms into clusters and are often pollinated by bees such as blueberry and carpenter bees. Redbud trees, on the other hand, are often grown in public places like parks and gardens and has been awarded with Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society. Some say that early Americans eat Redbud flowers which is a good source of anthocyanins and its seed contain proanthocyanidin.
